Shareacase.com was conceived by Roland McCormack, whose love of fine wine and desire to build an eclectic cellar became frustrated by the way in which the en primeur system works.
Roland's mission was simple, to offer his fellow wine enthusiasts a better way. In doing so, he has brought together a team of highly respected, experienced business people and professionals who share his passion and have considerable knowledge of the wine world.

Charles Metcalfe - Shareholder and Wine Journalist Charles is one of the best-known, most spontaneous and amusing wine critics in Britain. He presented drinks and occasionally food items for 12 years on television and radio including ‘Taste Today’, ‘Great Food Live’, ‘Sunday Lunch Live’and many other programmes. He is co-chairman of the International Wine Challenge, the world’s biggest wine competition, held annually in London, and was one of the founders of Wine International magazine. He has just published a travel guide about Portuguese wines, food and places to visit, ‘The Wine & Food Lover’s Guide to Portugal’, written jointly with his wife, Kathryn McWhirter. He also acts as a consultant for restaurant wine lists and is one of two consultants who advise the City of London Corporation on buying wines for banquets. |

Nick Miller - Director Nick first became involved in the wine business in 1994 as MD and then Chairman of the company which published Wine Magazine, Wine & Spirit International and hosted the International Wine Challenge (IWC). The IWC grew to become the World's largest blind wine tasting. He has spent 30 years acquiring and developing publishing and media businesses, a sector in which he remains an active investor. He was a founding Director of Wilmington Group PLC, where he was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2000 and served as a Director until 2005. |
